Shopmobility is a scheme to provide electrically powered scooters, wheelchairs and manual wheelchairs to help people, who have limited mobility through permanent or temporary disablement, illness, age or accident, to shop and use the leisure facilities within Ashford Town Centre.
Located in Vicarage Lane Car Park, Ashford, the opening hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
A range of equipment is available, both manual and power assisted chairs and scooters. Do not worry if you have never used one before, training can be given so you feel confident before setting out.
To join, all we ask is a small joining fee and proof of identity. You will then receive a Membership Card with a number to quote when you wish to ring and book your next trip. An hourly fee is then charged for each loan period.
